Fall into Golden LightA group show - Available works by gallery artists 3 Oct - 3 Nov 2019This Autumn season, we are inviting you to the MMX Gallery to see a selection of available work by the gallery's represented artists. In our main gallery space, there are works by Valda Baily some of which were shown at Photo London this year. The installation consists of two 5 metre rows showcasing the intricate glass panel prints, hand gilded with precious metal leaf by the artist.In our basement galley, we also have a small selection of Silver Gelatin prints including Michael Abramson, Michael Jackson, Michal Cala and Brian Griffin as well as colour light boxes by Neil Shirreff.

Neil Shirreff: Curiosity, Invention and the Photograph8 Dec 2017 - 27 Jan 2018Curiosity, Invention and the Photograph is Neil Shirreff's first solo show at MMX Gallery and brings together a number of series that have been made over the last eight years. His work employs experimental and innovative photographic processes including the design and production of machinery and apparatus to create his photographs.
The techniques involved, range from precision colour luminograms, modified record turntables, multiple exposures and colour LED lights. There is also a site-specific installation created purely for this exhibition.
