MMX Gallery was founded in a former photography studio in London in 2014 by Mark and Magdalena Shackleton. The gallery uses photography as a catalyst to exhibit new and established photographers and photographic artists.
Encouraging freedom of expression and pushing boundaries within the ever-changing face of contemporary photographic practice enables the gallery to show innovative works and ideas within its diverse programme of exhibitions.
Its seemingly endless possibilities is what fuels our passion for photography.
As well as discovering new artists and nurturing their ways of seeing, MMX Gallery also unearths previously hidden archives to realise the continuing magnetism of vintage prints.
In addition to participating in prestigious Photo fairs, most notably Photo London in 2017, 2018 and 2019, our represented artists work has been acquired by numerous international private collections and institutions including the MAST Foundation in Bologne, Italy and the National Gallery of Art in Washington, US.
Housed in a Victorian building, the gallery is spread over two rooms.
Whether you are a collector, curator, someone who admires photography or just a curious soul, you will always get a warm welcome.
