"I studied photography at Manchester Polytechnic from 1969 until 1972.
After leaving I came to London to develop a career as a freelance photographer where I met Roland Schenk the art director of the magazine Management Today. Seeing my ballroom dancing photographs in my college portfolio he immediately offered me my first commission.
So from these photographs my career in photography began." - Brian Griffin
