MMX Gallery is delighted to be participating again this year at Photo London with a selection of works including unique pieces, rare vintage as well as limited edition prints.

Photo London 2021 takes place at Somerset House, London, from Thursday 9 September to Sunday 12 September, with the Preview Day on Wednesday 8 September with Photo London Digital on Artsy until 28th September.

For the inaugural edition of Photo London Digital with Artsy, MMX Gallery is presenting a spectrum of work by its artists: Michael L Abramson, Valda Bailey, Michal Cala, Katie Eleanor, Jasper Goodall, Brian Griffin, Michael Jackson and Neil Shirreff.

We are delighted to be participating in this inaugural edition of the virtual art fair presented by Photo LA.

This Autumn season, we are inviting you to the MMX Gallery to see a selection of available work by the gallery's represented artists. In our main gallery space, there are works by Valda Baily some of which were shown at Photo London this year. The installation consists of two 5 metre rows showcasing the intricate glass panel prints, hand gilded with precious metal leaf by the artist.In our basement galley, we also have a small selection of Silver Gelatin prints including Michael Abramson, Michael Jackson, Michal Cala and Brian Griffin as well as colour light boxes by Neil Shirreff.

MMX Gallery presents "Tales from the South Side. 1970s Chicago Clubs", a solo exhibition by the late American photographer Michael Abramson.
The exhibition focuses on his best known photographs from the 1970s, documenting the nightlife of Black clubs on Chicago's South Side and the underground funk/blues and early disco scene. It's a celebration of the style and culture of a bygone era. All works in the exhibition at MMX Gallery are vintage silver gelatin prints made by the photographer at the time there were taken. This will be the first time Abramson's work will be shown in UK.
