Brian Griffin's autobiography Black Country DADA charts his fascinating career, covering the period 1969-90. He writes: 'Those were analogue days! Growing up among the factories of the Black Country, studying photography in Manchester alongside my friends Daniel Meadows and Martin Parr, and then with trepidation going down to London to make a living as a photographer in the early 1970s.' Black Country DADA will be launched at FORMAT festival with an online exhibition featuring extracts running 12 March until 11 April. (The Guardian, 2 March, 2021)
