Join us at MMX Gallery for the Finissage of "John Reardon's (after) Whisteljacket" on Saturday 15th July, 2.30 - 5.00 pm There will be a couple of informal Talks - starting at 3pm: with Simon Norfolk, renowned British photographer, to give a short talk about the "Horse seen through the History of Art" (Due to popular demand, we are repeating this talk again!) and Jocelyn Targett - a former colleague of John Reardon's, a journalist, adviser and a specialist on thoroughbreds to give some insight behind the photographs. Join us this Saturday 17th June for the guided tour with Sacha Lehfreund of the "(after) Whistlejacket" exhibition - Contemporary Equine Photographs by John Reardon at MMX Gallery. Sacha Lehfreund is the wife of late Photographer John Reardon and Director of John Reardon Archive, who also works for Darley Stud. Come along and unfold some of the stories behind these stunning exhibited works. Also, we are delighted to have Simon Norfolk - a renowned photographer himself and a friend of John Reardon to give a short lecture about the "Horse seen through the History of Art!" Guided exhibition tour with Sacha Lehfreund & talk by Simon Norfolk - 3 PM General Q & A plus an informal conversation until 5 PM Refreshments provided. No booking required - All welcome

We are delighted to welcome Lydia Smith into the gallery with her sculpture on show ‘Be More like A Horse’ to accompany our current solo exhibition: (after) Whistlejacket – Contemporary Equine Photography by John Reardon. It’s a new and exciting initiative at MMX Gallery to add three-dimensional work that can create unwritten dialogue between different mediums.
