“As someone who has tentatively been diagnosed with a certain type of synaesthesia recently the connection between sounds, experiences and shapes seems to make much more sense.
This print was made from listening to birdsong while I sat in my darkroom making marks on silver gelatin paper with light – a connection and crossover of the senses. The marks are nothing to do with the bird, they are marks that made me feel the same way as I did when I heard the birdsong." - Mike G Jackson
